He married Baroness Eveleen Pounden Gray on 9 May 1863, in St George Hanover Square, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in London, England in 1881. He died on 26 February 1900, at the age of 67.
