NotesVyacheslav Vasilyevich Nabatov was Born October 5, 1939. in the town of Karasuk in Novosibirsk region, in a large family. In 1967 he graduated from the Saratov Art College. In the same year he enrolled in the painting Department of the Leningrad Institute under Ilya Repin, graduating in 1973. From 1973 to 1976 he increased his skills in the Creative Workshop of the USSR Academy of Arts. Since 1975 he was a member of the Union of artists. Participant in the international, All-Union, Republican and city exhibitions. In the 1980s, he exhibited extensively in Leningrad.
Vyacheslav Nabatov made still lifes and portraits, but very early on, even during his studies, he showed his gift for landscape. Nabatov's works are in many museums and private collections in Russia, Germany, Finland, USA, Japan, and Australia.
